Time for Celebrating

The Bowling Club held the annual dinner last week-end and what an enjoyable evening we had, the location was an old country manor hotel set in lovely woodland. After the meal bowlers who had taken part and won various trophies were awarded with them and after that we had an hilarious time talking and catching up with the local gossip. Some member we hadn't seen since the end of the season so much chattering was done! I won one trophy and runner up in another competition and my hubby won one, we are now looking forward to the coming season when it begins again.
Celebrating today are our friends of long standing Sybil and Algernon, they are celebrating their Wedding Anniversary so I must give then a mention, well done! and when they are cracking open the champagne tonight and eating strawberries even though we are unable to be with them when they are having their own private celebration through the power of thought I'm sure their bubbling champagne will overflow.
