Days out

Weather permitting it depends on what spot we choose to have a day out, this week Boston came to mind. So off we trundled and had a relaxing drive there. About four miles from Boston stands in all it's glory the spire of St. Botolph's church, loving called the "stump" by the locals. The spire is about 271ft high and if feeling energetic it is open daily from 10.00am until 4.00pm so if it's a climb you would like thats the place to be. The market is wonderful and sells produce from the wonderful loamy soil of the fens. A dark rich colour which grows many types of vegetables and potatoes being the main crop. Luckily we live in an area which has a few similar type towns, hence we are able to visit varying ones without boredom setting in.
