RAF & BOMBER COUNTY.

Lincolnshire is well known as Bomber County, hence the famous Barnes Wallises " Bouncing Bomb" and the well aired film shown often. During WW11 there were 47 airfields in this county and still today we have plenty of them around including the Famous Red Arrows who do displays around the world.
We are coming up to the time of the year when we have a day of rememberance to sit and reflect on all the people who gave their lives for freedom.
This is only a small piece of information and I know of many people who can add more, especially the rear gunners in the Lancaster, only a few remain!
So to these men and women who gave so much I think the picture tells all so as they say wear your poppy with pride
