Exchange and No Robbery

Living in the second largest county in the uk, Lincolnshire has an abundance of crops, vegetables etc., So many of it's inhabitants have small holdings, allotments and grow things in their gardens. Hence when having a general chit-chat with someone who had so many own grown vegetables an agreement without words is arranged. So one may get up at the week-end to find a box of grocery at their front door, at the same time the recipentent when going about his business will do the same, different crops but a change nevertheless.
We try to keep this method up of exchanging produce and no moneychanging hands even to passing each other plants and cuttings and our different ways of producing even the most simplest of crops, herbs and ideas.
This idea has gone down and down for generations and long may it continue to do so.
