Nearly a year.

Since I last posted a blog hoodles of things have happened, my hubby took early retirement in February and last month he officially became a "senior citizen", so in a nutshell we are both using our bus passes.
Next week we reach a milestone in our lives, yes, we've been wed 40 years, and whilst they have been very enjoyable ones I can't say we've never had a wrong word (Ha-ha). We are going to Spain and will celebrate while we are there.
So it's all systems change, we are going to make more room in the garden to grow some vegetables which will mean a lots of hard digging and re-planning the garden, but a friend of ours emails me daily and reports what fresh goodies he's harvested from his garden. He lives in an old farm house with plenty of land, our attempt will be on a much smaller scale. But to dig fresh veg and cook right away must be better.
We still belong to the Outdoor Bowls Club and play very active parts in that throughout the season and now it's over will play Indoors but not so often.
Well thats enough about life in the village for now and will try and blog more often.
